NMFS: No signs Alaska
pollock overfished

A SURVEY that shows the biomass of Alaska pollock found in the mid-water levels of the Bering Sea is half of what is was in 2007 does not indicate overfishing of the resource, says the US National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) researcher who conducted the survey.
